Mosquito Control Helicopter Activity (April 22–30)
You may notice a helicopter flying low in parts of town between April 22 and April 30, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (weather permitting).
This is part of routine mosquito control work by the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District. This is not a spray — the helicopter will be applying a granular larvicide in wetland areas to help reduce mosquito populations early in the season.
Residents may see or hear the helicopter during this time.
