Donate a Memorial Bench or Tree
The Foxborough Select Board is excited to announce that applications are now open for sponsoring a bench or tree on Foxborough Town-owned property, offering a unique opportunity to honor and remember individuals who have made enduring contributions to our community. To be memorialized, individuals must have been residents of Foxborough or have made significant contributions to our town for a minimum of ten years. This initiative allows us to celebrate and recognize the profound impact these individuals have had on our community. With a gift of $1200 (bench) or $500 (tree), a bench or tree will be placed on Town owned property (such as the Town Common and other locations such as the Lane Conservation property). Appropriate locations are consulted with internal departments as well as Boards, Commissions or Committees that oversee a desired location.
Memorial Bench: $1200
Memorial Tree: $500
The Select Board will review all applications at a board meeting in April 2024 so please submit applications as soon as possible to our Department of Public Works located at 70 Elm Street.
