Hello Hello Hello!
You are receiving this message because you registered your email address with the Foxborough Council on Aging/Human Services Department in the past. Up until now we have never sent out a mass email, because we did not want to clog your mailbox with further information. However, I believe now is the perfect time to connect virtually.
As you may know, we have been hard at work creating many virtual programs through Facebook, Zoom, and Teleconference Call. Below you will find an update of our current programming schedule.
Soon these programs will be streamed onto Foxborough Cable, for those without access to technology.
Additionally, while we have been closed to the public, we have been providing many services to the community. We have distributed 2900 rolls of toilet paper, 60 dozen eggs, and Patriots goodies courtesy of Next Gen Supply and the Kraft Organization.
Finally, I think it is important to know that if you are having a hard time, there are resources available. We have updated our Community Resource Guide, which is available by clicking here.
This comprehensive guide will give you insight into the hundreds of resources and services available to you. If you are having trouble navigating the systems put into place for these resources or if you are facing difficulties because of housing, access to food, or an other immediate need you can speak with our social workers, Pam and Christina, by calling 508-543-1234.
It is my intention to continue to email you with resources, program updates, and Town of Foxborough news on a regular basis, (approximately 1-2 emails a week). As we return to a new normal over the coming weeks/months this email blast will morph into a weekly version of our incredibly popular GEM newsletter.
